Land of Enchantment BMW Riders invites you to join them at the 41^st Bavarian Mountain Weekend event.  This will be the 3rd year it has been held at the Down Home Lodge & RV Park, a former church camp location.  You can enjoy twenty acres of grass, tree lined camping spots, showers with gas stations and local restaurants nearby.

This will not be a lead ride event for us, but several BMWMCC officers and members will attend.  Possible meetups for group rides will likely be mentioned on our BMWMCC Facebook Page.

For those that have not been to Chama, a  local opportunity is a ride on the narrow-gauge Cumbres & Toltec train, which runs 1000 ft higher than the Durango Silverton Train.

Registration for the rally is available at www.loebmwr.org.  Early registration is $50 and is $60 after August 15^th, 2026.  The Rally fee does not include camping or lodging, which must be done through the Down Home Lodge website (https://www.downhomelodge.com) or calling (575) 756-2756.  Be sure to say you are attending the Rally as they offer discount from the standard camping fee.
